Public Safety First Make safety a top priority for every neighborhood. Support strong cooperation between the City and Fontana Police Department. Work to increase community policing and neighborhood engagement. Address property crime, theft, vandalism, and violent crime. Support programs that keep young people engaged and away from crime. Improve communication between residents, law enforcement, and city leadership. Promote safe neighborhoods where families, seniors, and children can feel secure. My commitment: Every resident deserves to feel safe in their own neighborhood. 2. A Responsible Approach to Homelessness Compassion with accountability. Expand partnerships with organizations that provide shelter, food, mental-health resources, job assistance, and rehabilitation services. Connect people experiencing homelessness with pathways toward permanent housing and employment. Protect public spaces, parks, businesses, and residential neighborhoods. Support solutions that address the underlying causes of homelessness rather than simply moving people from one location to another. Encourage accountability while treating every person with dignity. Carefully evaluate future warehouse and industrial development. Protect established residential neighborhoods from incompatible development. Consider traffic, roads, air quality, noise, and infrastructure before approving major projects. Encourage economic development that brings quality jobs and benefits residents. Demand responsible planning rather than unchecked growth. Continue advocating for a balanced economy that includes businesses beyond warehouses and logistics. My commitment: Growth should serve Fontana—not overwhelm it. 4. Protect Our Neighborhoods & Quality of Life Put residents at the center of city decisions. Preserve the character and stability of Fontana's neighborhoods. Invest in parks, recreation, streets, and community spaces. Listen directly to residents before major decisions are made.
